Ordinary olive oils are blends of olives from various regions, and many of them have a strong bitter or harsh taste. Soramits Yama no Oliva is an extra virgin olive oil made by cold pressing only olives from Laconia, Greece. Olives from a limited production area are simply physically pressed at temperatures below 27°C (cold pressing), so you can experience the deliciousness of the olives themselves, just like fresh juice. You can enjoy the flavor of the olives themselves by using it raw not only in pasta and stir-fries, but also in salads, bread, cold tofu, sashimi, etc. The acidity of olive oil varies depending on the year, but is approximately 0.2% to 0.3%.
