Olive oil, olives, balsamic vinegar, honey, etc. Foods that have been grown in the natural environment of the land and loved for a long time have their flavor determined by the local climate and environment.
We deliver food that is carefully produced using traditional methods from the most suitable production areas, preserving the bounty of nature, tradition and culture.
Extra virgin olive oil is an agricultural product made by physically squeezing olives at temperatures below 27°C. The flavor varies depending on the climate and soil.
Even though they are both from the southern Peloponnese Peninsula in Greece, olive oil from the mountain side has a fruity sweetness and a rich aroma that spreads the moment you put it in your mouth. Olive oil from the sea side is characterized by a gorgeous aroma. We deliver the original deliciousness of olive fruit.
Greek Kalamata olives (black olives) are the most famous in the world and are used in famous French restaurants.
Normally olives are treated with caustic soda to remove the bitterness, but this removes the flavor and turns the fruit into a dry substance. In Greece, olives are carefully made using the traditional method of soaking them in salt water for more than three months and then fermenting them naturally to remove the bitterness, resulting in a rich, fruity flavor.
The only ingredient in balsamic vinegar is grape juice grown and harvested by the Raimondi family in the Modena region of Italy.
This concentrated juice is boiled down and mixed with wine vinegar, which is made by naturally fermenting the juice before concentration, and then fermented in oak barrels to make vinegar. It makes a great salad dressing with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
After examining honeys from around the world, including Taiwanese longan, we settled on Greek organic thyme honey, which is rich yet elegant and delicious, and goes well with a variety of dishes, including yogurt and bread.
The rocky soil is ideal for growing herbs, and wild herbs grow all over the island. Crete is warm, so there is no need to give antibiotics or syrup to bees, even in winter, and they survive on natural nectar.
The only ingredients used in Soramitsu Olive Soap with Leaves are olive oil and olive leaves. Sodium hydroxide is added to the olive oil and the soap is made using the traditional kettle cooking method. It contains no additives and is rich in natural glycerin, so you can experience a moist and natural feel even when using it in the winter.
Eliasoap is made from only organic EX olive oil, with sodium hydroxide added and slowly processed into soap using natural reaction heat (non-heated, made in Japan). The cold process method means it contains plenty of natural glycerin, giving it plenty of natural moisturizing power. It is an additive-free natural soap that is gentle on sensitive skin and babies.
We are confident in delivering safe, healthy and delicious foods that we would want to use every day.
