Regular olive oil is a blend of olives from various regions, and many of them have a strong bitter or harsh taste. Soramits Umi no Oliva is an extra virgin olive oil that is cold pressed only from olives grown in Messinia, Greece. It is made by simply physically squeezing olives from a limited production area at temperatures below 27°C (cold pressing), so you can experience the deliciousness of the olives themselves, just like fresh juice. You can enjoy the flavor of the olives themselves by using it raw not only in pasta and stir-fries, but also in salads, bread, cold tofu, sashimi, etc.
The acidity of olive oil varies from year to year, but is approximately 0.2% to 0.3%.
